July Launch

So here we are again, getting together for our monthly launch.  Today, all 5 of us were present!   The group will be coming out to visit me for a little “convention” in a month, so we spent some time going over those details first.  After that discussion, it was important to let go of all of that and clear our minds before launching.

Every day I choose a card from my Osho Zen Tarot deck.

Today’s card was “Travel”.  For my intent today, I wanted to find out what that term meant for me.  Certainly I have done a lot of traveling on the inner and outer planes in my life, but was there something more?  I was about to find out!

Once I launched, I went through an energetic zone where vision after vision surrounded me on all sides.  These were places that I have visited in this lifetime, past lives, 3D physicality, 4 D energetic patterns, this planet and other planets, other dimensions, other universes, and on and on.  The number of locations was staggering!  I am also sure that I do not consciously remember them all either, but I did connect energetically to as many as I could.

As I drifted upwards, I saw that these locations had coalesced into a column or tube of energy that was following me from below.

Next I found myself deep in a volcano in the red hot lava.  I was ejected explosively, and ended up at the center of a sphere.  All of those locations were now surrounding me inside that sphere.  They would pop into me and then out, and then another would do the same, and on and on.

As this action was happening, the sphere kept getting smaller and more compact around me, until all of those travel locations were inside me!

So what does that mean?  I assume that this is another reminder that we have “All” inside us, and that there is no separation between the experience and the experiencer.   To extrapolate on that, there is no separation between me and you, or us and the Divine, or where we are here  and any other time and place.

Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to pop over to any travel location instantly, experience it, and instantly pop back to our here and now?  We wouldn’t even have to pack a suitcase.  We would be time travelers.  That may be very possible if we can really acknowledge that we have it all within us. I may try this with some of the places that I have visited.

Walking the Labyrinth

I just got home after walking our local last Saturday of the month labyrinth, and thought I’d write about it before those memories fade.  Earlier this week I had a lot of dental work done and my mouth is still sore today.  My dentist is excellent, but he can be kind of brusque and rough, as he was this week.   I like to have a specific intent for any spiritual process, and I thought that this would be a good one.

When you process in this way, it is necessary to get into an altered state at the beginning.  I do not recommend a sitting silent meditation, because the mind can wander way too much, making the process frustrating and somewhat unproductive.  Any walking meditation where you can focus on the walking and not on your environment is ideal.  That is why labyrinths are good for this.  Or perhaps walking on a track, indoors or out would work. Look at your feet and do not look around too much.  That will help you focus on the issue at hand.

When I woke up this morning, memories were already coming up to be cleared.  Specifically, I remembered the sore throats that I used to get before I had my tonsils taken out.  My dad popped up in those memories, as he was always the one who would mother us when we were sick.

This is how my labyrinth walk progressed.  My father was a dentist, and he would work on our teeth instead of sending my sister and me to another dentist, which would have been better.  The next memories that came up were of having fear around going to his office on a Sunday afternoon to have my teeth worked on.  There was a conflict here, as the father that would protect was the same one who was required to cause pain through the dental work.  My current dentist just served to trigger these memories!  Thank you!

As these memories came up, I intended to clear them from my DNA and past lives.  Being in the sacred space of the labyrinth made this pretty easy!  To do this, one goes to their observer state, acknowledges the memory, and sends it off as if you are blowing on a feather.  You do not engage, create a story or embellish the memory in any way.  Watch it float away.

What will happen is that more memories or energetic patterns will show up, widening your scope of issues.  I then recalled a local news story from the past several days where a woman’s boyfriend brutally killed her 3 month old daughter.  Boom!  That took me to the theme of the brutality that men use on women and children, a common theme for mankind going back through the ages on planet earth.  This issue was pretty broad.  I assume that I had experienced some of that as victim or perpetrator in DNA or past lives, so I intended to clear all of that, too.

I then touched on my veterinarian’s behavior, which can be brusque and no nonsense, too!  I wonder what my cat thinks about that?  She is elderly, and I would like some compassionate care at the end of her life, but may not get it from him.

So all of that went on until I reached the center of the labyrinth.  That was the release phase.  After spending some time in the center honoring all of the elements, kingdoms and Source, I entered the positive outcome phase on the way out.  This usually goes faster, as embodying the positive is more of a general affair and can be much simpler.

There you have it.  It is important when doing this to be serious about letting things go once and for all.  Do not look back.  Be in the now with all of this at all times.  If there are physical issues that tie in, be patient to see how they resolve.  More memories may come up, so let them go in the same way.

The photo at the top of this post is from Yellowstone National Park.  The flowers are a reminder of just how beautiful we all are! Always remember that we are spirit having a temporary physical experience.

More Animal Wisdom

Yesterday I took a break and dove up to Navajo Lake for a hike along the shore.
At a certain point on the hike, I was suddenly surrounded by beautiful blue dragonflies, like the one above.  There were also many smaller brown ones.  They were swarming around me!  As I have mentioned before, if you encounter a living being that is new to you, or is displaying an unusual behavior, it is giving you a message.

From my Animal Speak book, the keynote for dragonfly is "The Power of Light".  It also reminds us to look for change to occur.  To quote, "Life is never quite the way it appears, but is always filled with light and color.  Dragonfly can help you to see through your illusions and thus allow your own light to shine forth.  It brings the brightness of transformation and the wonder of colorful new vision."   What a wonderful message for me!

As you will see from the photos of Yellowstone National Park that I will be posting soon, that place is certainly bright and colorful!  I will also be paying attention to any new changes that the dragonfly encounter portends.

Yellowstone

Yesterday I returned from a fabulous week in Yellowstone National Park.  The weather was cooler than in SW Utah, and the wildflowers were in full bloom.  As you can imagine, I am now sorting through hundreds of photos!  That may take a while, and I will be posting some as soon as I have chosen the very best to show you.

On an energetic level, it is always nice to get away from the daily routine.  In the park, there was no WiFi or internet service.  People were taking photos with their phones, but there were no phone conversations to be heard anywhere.  That was quite pleasant.

What an opportunity to merge with nature.  Just to quietly stand and take it all in.  That is exactly what I did!  There were not only new plant species to look at, but also the volcanic action of the geysers and hot springs.  That is a very different energy coming from our Mother Earth.

Back to life as usual.  The temperature in St George when I landed was 110 degrees.  It is even too hot here to walk in the early morning hours, so I will be going back into the mountains as soon as I settle down after this trip.

If you are living a busy and distracted life, I encourage you to take a break and go out into nature to recharge.  Even a short break out in your back yard will be beneficial.  Remember that we are spirit having a temporary earthly experience.  Make the most of it while you are here in a body!

Grins

Yesterday was the annual Cedar City Car Show.  I go every year because I really enjoy the creative nature of how the car owners have restored their cars.  I did post on this last year, but today, just for kicks, I cropped the photos so that just the facial expressions of the cars were visible.  So here you have everything from smiley and happy, to angry, to grimacing, to just plain goofy.  What fun!  Reminds me of a lot of people I know.  Enjoy.

Are Your Sparkling?

Tuesday was our 4th of July Independence Day celebration here in the US. Where I live there was a very patriotic parade in the morning and fireworks in the evening. Above is a photo of some very lovely horses that were in the parade.

“Sparkling” was going on all over, as Utah allows certain legal fireworks that can be shot off on one’s private property, in the street in front of one’s house, and in many designated areas around our town in addition to the airport.  When I first moved here about 3 ½ years ago, I was kind of shocked to see privately launched fireworks that would have been illegal in Colorado, Montana, and Illinois where I had previously lived.  They went way up into the sky!

So I would like to ask you—do you sparkle?  Do you show your energy and enthusiasm?  Do you let others see the spark of the Divine that shines within you?  Do you walk the earth as spirit having a temporary spiritual experience?  Below is a photo of the pompom girls from the local high school as they marched in the parade.  Talk about sparkle and enthusiasm!

I just love watching fireworks.  Perhaps they remind me of that energy and the spark of the Divine within.  When I was a kid, my parents never took us to see them.  Maybe that is why I never miss a chance to go to a fireworks display even now.  And of course, here, there is so much going on in the neighborhood, that all one needs to do is look around.  Below are some photos from last night.  The fireworks were shot off at our local airport, and I was on a hill overlooking that, so you can see some of the lights of passing cars and from local buildings in the shots.

Ask yourself if you have lost that sparkle for life.  We all have that.  It just is a matter of living it.  Are you hiding your light under a barrel, as the old saying goes?  It is time to take that barrel away.  Own your light.

Perhaps meditating on any of the fireworks photos above will ignite your spark.  Then all you need to do is embody and own that spark.  Let it grow within you and show it to the world.

This final shot was taken at the end of the display.  Something blew up at the location, and I was not sure if that was really the end or if what was left was what blew up.  Not to worry, as I highly doubt that you will blow up when  you ignite your spark of the Divine within!
