The Original Wound

 

This past Sunday, I took the opportunity to go hiking in the high country near Cedar Breaks National Monument.  The day started out partly cloudy, with even a few rain sprinkles, before shifting to high clouds with blue skies in between. 

The combination of the rhythm of the walking and the high elevation, today at 11,000’, always puts me in an altered state where interesting insights can be had.  Today was no exception.   (BTW—walking a labyrinth or visiting an ancient sacred site does the same thing.)

So as I was walking along, I started expanding my Core Essence, creating a bubble of higher dimensional energy around me.  I always feel that doing so is a great way to engage in the natural world while walking outside.  Suddenly, in my mind’s eye, a being of light appeared.  He was all in white with an unusual headpiece on.  It was very flat and wide.  I queried him and got that he was one of my higher dimensional guides from the level of my monad, and my galactic level of consciousness. 

As I continued to walk and expand, my sense was that my Core Essence was being converted into to a crystalline substance, much like a multi faceted clear quartz crystal.  Very cool!  This crystalline energy field continued to expand and envelope my whole body.  It became as large as planet earth, then our solar system and eventually as large as the Milky Way Galaxy and included all of the solar systems in our galaxy.   I was connecting with the crystalline aspects of all of those.  It looked like a giant latticework of energy.  Not a grid per se.  For me grids are composed of horizontal and vertical lines.  These connecting lines created triangles, squares, and the whole variety of complex geometric patterns.  Apparently one of the skills I have this time around is to be able to hold space for the entire galaxy through this crystalline grid. 

 I then focused once again on my crystalline Core Essence and noticed a nugget of a black/red substance, about the size of a small grape, inside of it.  “What is this?” I asked.  The being in front of me said that this was the “original wound” and that each person has this. 

The way I understand it is that when our spirit essence dropped in density and left the realms of unity and entered the realms of polarity, the experience was so shocking that we were each wounded.  Our essence was fractured, split and traumatized, as we had never experienced such a dark and dense energy before.  This resulted in the states of being that we have been living with ever since, which includes separation, competition, Judgment, greed, avarice, hate and suffering to name a very few, and on and on. 

Between me and the being of light, we managed to remove most of this dense nugget of energy.  There is still a bit of it left.  Behind it was revealed a glowing orb of light, which turned out to be a portal leading back into the realm of unity consciousness.  The original wound was blocking the way back out of this dense reality. 

So how does one remove this wound?  I don’t think that pulling it out would completely do the trick.  It is a matter of one’s own spiritual evolution towards the qualities of unity consciousness.  As one lives with and embodies the qualities of self love and love of others, compassion, joy, gratitude, allowing, generosity, etc, that wound should start to dissolve.  Then that doorway back to our greatest self will open wider and wider.  When the time comes, we can just pop through! 

What a wonderful hike full of great stuff.  BTW—as that being started to fade away since our task together was finished, I heard him chuckle.  He said that what I had just experienced with my Core Essence had nothing to do with a heart chakra, the color green, or the Emerald Ray.  Good to know!

As I was heading back to the trail head, a coyote ran by.  That was a first for me there!  Above is a photo that I took at Cedar Breaks on my way home.  More rain was coming!
