What a special day yesterday! At the last minute, I decided to drive up to our local mountain peak to do Lion’s Gate ceremony and receive attunements. The photo above shows Brian Head Peak, in greener times. We are in the midst of a pretty good drought right now, and everything is drying up and turning brown, especially in the high country. The top of this mountain sits at 11,300 feet, and is home to a very powerful vortex. Before I moved to Utah from Colorado, I actually did a journey where I saw the vortex from above. It looked like a giant search light beaming up from the peak.
Also, during August and September, local sheep ranchers move their flocks up to the high country to graze and live in a cooler environment. This practice has been going on since the first settlers got to the area.
So off I went. It is about a 30 mile drive to the top of the peak. Not bad. As soon as I got off of the main road and onto the dirt road leading to the top, I encountered the sheep. They were all over the place.
What was interesting was that the sheep protection dogs were lying in the road. They looked pretty uncomfortable. Normally they would be hanging out with the sheep.
Here I was at the top.
The shelter that the sign is referring to was severely damaged a few winters ago. 110 mph winds blew the roof off! In a few weeks a crew of volunteers will start the restoration process. It is a historical landmark and a nice shelter in case the weather suddenly gets bad up there.
I brought skulls Tashi and the Traveler with me, and set them up on the ground in the center of the vortex, and then later on a wall of the shelter. While they were getting energized, I worked with the heightened energy to bring in any activations and attunements due me. I got a pretty big whammy! I asked to connect further with the Sirian High Council and the energy in general coming from the star Sirius. The skulls also got imprinted with these energies. I left a small crystal there as a thank you.
You can also see Cedar Breaks from the peak.
As a side note, the week before, I found 2 mountain bluebird feathers on a hike not far from there. The night before the Lion’s Gate, I was given a third bluebird feather in a dream. Shortly after starting down the road from the mountain, I encountered a flock of the same bird! I was getting a message, which was transformation and passage into happiness and fertility. Wonderful!
The same sheep, and dogs, were encountered on the way back down, and the shepherd on his horse. The foliage is pretty dried up, and I do not know where they were getting water, either. No rain in sight. I had to go slow and honk my horn to get by them. They really did not want to move, which is highly unusual.
My last stop on the way home was to Cedar Breaks National Monument, which is near the mountain. There were very few people there yesterday, which was nice. Always uplifting to hang out there for a bit. You can see Brian Head Peak in the distance.
Today, I feel more of a presence with my Sirian connection. I know that this will expand as time goes by.
