The Start of the Journey

On Tuesday morning January 16^th, our group gathered at our hotel in Mexico City to start out on what would shape up to be a fabulous journey.  We had 13 guests, 5 people in charge of various aspects of the trip and our Mexican tour guide Omar.  Of course, as most trips go, there were some issues that cropped up, especially since this was the first time that this particular itinerary was presented by Hugh Newman and Brien Foerster. All in all, everyone took the delays from construction on the roads, our bus driver getting lost, one of the travelers getting lost at Teotihuacan, and the sometimes heavy city traffic in stride.  It helped to have a very comfortable bus with plenty of room to spread out, too.

This trip started in Mexico City and ended up 2 weeks later in Cancun.  We visited mainly Mayan archeological sites, one Olmec site, and several museums where significant archeological finds were on display.  There were many hours spent in the bus traveling from place to place.  Our longest bus trip took about 9 hours!  We stayed at 8 different hotels, with several of them hosting us for only one night before we moved on.  In spite of all of that, I made good use of the time on the bus by journaling and reviewing my many photos. 

My particular focus on this trip was feeling into the energy of each site.  How fascinating it was that each one had a different flavor and vibration.  I did not read up on each destination ahead of the trip, preferring to go in cold and gather impressions.  Going by the premise that these ancient temples and pyramids were built on much older structures which in turn were built on high energy locations, or vortices, my interest was to track as much of this higher dimensional energy as I could. 

How does one go about doing this?  Just stand in a location that draws your interest, relax, and get into a dreamy or altered state.  Then, take what information or feelings present.  The simplest and first impressions are always the ones to pay attention to.  Later this year I will be teaching a workshop on Shamanic tracking entitled “Journeys Beyond the Physical”.  Students will learn how to do this in a variety of circumstances. 

I have to say that the energetic changes that I experienced reminded me very much of my travels in Peru, where each and every site there has a positive energetic effect on the traveler.  In the next posts, I will be writing about the interesting impressions and energy that I experienced on this trip.

Return from Mayaland

I have just come back from a 2 week trip to visit some of the most fabulous Mayan archeological sites in Mexico.  With about 1500 photos to sort through, I look forward to sharing images of my adventures with all of you.  The tour was led by Brien Foerster of Hidden Inca Tours, and Hugh Newman of Megalithomania, both experts in ancient and megalithic sites.  Even though the focus was archeology, I took the time to tune into the energy of each place we visited, which is what I will share in upcoming posts.  There was a lot of variety with no 2 locations feeling the same.  As I go through the many photos, I will post on each site.

Creating Your Plan for 2018

I am off tomorrow for a trip to Mexico with worldwide megalithic expert Brien Foerster's group, to investigate Mayan, Olmec, Toltec and Aztec sites.  This is not a spiritual trip per se, but of course, I will be tuning into the energy of each and every site that we will be going to.  I am especially looking forward to visiting Palenque again.  It is such a special place.  Stay tuned!

Setting Your Energetic Template for 2018

I am once again preparing to present my annual New Year’s workshop entitled “Setting Your Energetic Template for 2018”.  We will be meeting on Saturday January 6^th at 5 PM Eastern Time/2 PM Pacific Time.  Click here for the link to the Rise Multiversity store for registration information and to purchase your ticket. I have already started holding the group container of higher dimensional energy for those who will be participating live. 

As life continues to unfold in an erratic, chaotic and yet interesting way, it is important to move forward with intent and purpose.  It is necessary to approach each day in the most whole and healed state possible so that you can tackle and resolve in a complete manner any issue that may come up for you.  This workshop is designed to assist you in moving into 2018 in the best position possible.  

During our time together, I will be guiding you through processes that will help you to clarify and release what did not work for you in the previous year of 2017.  This might include issues around health, relationships, finances, bad habits, or even any traumas that you might have experienced.   In other words, it is time to drop any energetic baggage that you have been dragging along with you!  Part of the process will also include substituting healthier and more suitable outcomes for 2018.  You will be doing a lot of writing, so make sure you have a pen and several pieces of paper on hand.  Instructions will also be given on what to do with your papers once they are completed.

I will then direct the participants in a guided meditation to create a template for manifesting your highest destiny in this New Year of 2018.  The fracturing and splitting of 2017 has calmed down a bit as of this writing.  As I intuit deeper into 2018, the energy seems to be stable but still fractured and compartmentalized.  Our task for the coming year will be to heal and reunite our various aspects.  

We will finish up with a question and answer segment during which time you will have an opportunity to ask me about what was covered in this workshop or in any of my previous workshops, including checking chakra removal success in those who did not have an opportunity to have this done previously.  

The exercises and meditations that I will be guiding you through can be used at any time of the year for the letting go of what no longer serves and then the creation of a new and more positive outcome. Please join me for this workshop to start your New Year out in a positive direction.

The Arrival of Winter

Not only is today the first official day of winter, but it is also our first snowfall of the season here in southwest Colorado.  Normally, we would have some snow on the ground by now, and might have had several snowfalls throughout the previous 2 months.  Instead, we have had an unusually warm and dry fall.  Last night, a delightful group met at my house for the Winter Solstice fire ceremony, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  It was fairly balmy and dry, with a light breeze to fan the flames of the fire.

Fast forward to this morning, when I awoke to several inches of snow on the ground. Right on time for the official start of winter. Even my outdoor cat, Mr. Snowflake was a bit confused, as it had been quite a while since he had experienced any bad weather.

Getting back to last night’s ceremony, we had a phenomenon occur that has only happened a handful of times in the last 14 years.  The evening started out overcast, with an even layer of clouds.  As the fire ceremony progressed, I noticed that the clouds directly above us were starting to thin so that some stars could be seen.  By the time we were finished, those clouds had disappeared completely, leaving a disc of starry sky right above our location.  It was very magical and a testament to the vibrational unity of our group. 

After the participants left to go home, I lingered a while by the still glowing embers, and watched as that magical disc of stars disappeared behind the gathering clouds.  And, voila!  Winter officially arrived overnight.  

Winter Solstice

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we are rapidly approaching the most very special day of the year, that of the Winter Solstice.  This is the time of the shortest day, and is the most celebrated occasion for the native people of North America.  It is also the organic start to the New Year.   The days will start getting longer, and so it is time for you to plant your seeds of intention so that they will grow into great plants that bear fruit for you!   

As always, I recommend doing some sort of ceremony to mark the occasion.  Each year, I have a pot luck and shamanic fire ceremony at my house the night before the actual solstice.  What a wonderful way for people to get together, make their intents for the coming year, and share in the amplified energy that is produced by uniting in this way.  You can get together with like minded friends, or do something all on your own.  Either way, this is the most powerful day or evening to create your coming year of 2018! 

Our launching group met this past Sunday, and since the Solstice window encompasses several days on either side of the actual date, we were doing our journeying within that time frame.  Before we launched, we had a very fruitful discussion regarding Tom Kenyon’s latest Hathor message.   If you haven’t read it yet, there is a link to it in a previous post.  Several of us, myself included, journeyed to the zone of “Spatial Cognizance” that he wrote about.  That space felt very familiar, as we have often gone there during other launchings.  His channeled message is so deep and multilayered, that I will continue to reread it and work with the recommended consciousness technique.
