Nighttime Messages

For some time now, I have been aware that we each have a “team” that exists in the unseen realms. They are here to assist and guide us.  Through my work with Angela Zabel and Ken Lloyd, that reality has become more concrete for me.  I am not talking about channeling them, as many people do, but I do occasionally call on them for assistance, assuming that my requests are heard and acted upon.  During my recent trip to Hawaii, some of the hiking was pretty tough.  I asked my team for help in hiking out of the very deep volcanic calderas, and also used Ken Lloyd’s self healing techniques on my sore muscles later in the evenings.

I also go through a process when I lay down to go to sleep at night to clear out any heavy energy that I might have picked up during the day.  After that I ask my team to do any additional healing work on me that I may need, and download any needed information.  Sometimes that can lead to a pretty sleepless night!  Not that I am conscious of what is going on, just that something is happening.

Last night was unusual.  I woke up around 2:30 AM.  The key to getting back to sleep involves quieting my mind as best as I can.  Before I could do that, some messages came through.

Now, I have been divorced for many years, and hardly give it a thought anymore.  I do however occasionally think about the big choice points I have had in my life, and where I would be now if I had chosen something different.   Leaving my husband was a huge choice point that I can see in retrospect.

A calm female voice started speaking to me as I tried to get back to sleep.  She told me when I had decided to leave the marriage, I was at a point in my spiritual evolution where if I stayed in the marriage, I would have majorly derailed my path and purpose for this lifetime.  I was so exhausted back then, that all I could think about was to get out and take care of myself.  I started my shamanic training shortly after that, and in spite of that healing work, it took several years to get back to my “real” self. 

My ex husband died suddenly 17 years after the divorce.  What would my life have been if I had stayed through to his death?  The soothing voice told me that it would have been extremely difficult if not impossible to get back on my path at that point.  Wow!! 

My decision to leave the marriage must have seemed like a snap decision to others at that time, but I would like to believe that some higher aspect of myself had somehow and in some way urged me to take that step.  Where would I be if I hadn’t done that?  There is no way to know for sure.  I do know that in retrospect, it was the right thing to do at the time. 

In conclusion, we all have higher aspects and a team that are here to guide us through life.  The trick is to listen to the subtle nudgings that come from these wise ones.  Take plenty of quiet time for yourself, treat yourself humanely, and listen!  Don't be afraid to act on your intuition.
