Equinox Evening

Yesterday was a beautiful blue sky day, so I decided to drive to the Parowan Gap to observe the Vernal Equinox sunset.  Unfortunately, misty clouds started rolling in from the west as I was driving.  The eastern sky was still fairly clear at that point.

Here are the clouds to the west.

I decided to push on, as even though it is nice to get good photos of the sunset, it is the energy of the event that counts.  As always, for equinox, I intend to receive the energy of healing and balance.  The sun was not visible for most of it. Here is the progression of the sunset through the clouds.

I was not alone there, either.  There were 2 guys who had set up camp nearby.  They had tents attached to their Teslas!

One of them was also drumming during the sunset. We had a lovely chat afterwards.

I never know what I am going to find when I go there for either solstice or equinox.  Sometimes I am the only one there, sometimes there is a crowd.  Spring Equinox is usually the most sparsely attended, perhaps because the weather at that time of year is not the best.  Nevertheless, unless the weather is really dreadful, or I am out of town, I do go.  It is my 4 times a year kick start!
