The Launching Process

Since my last post, I have received several inquiries about the launching process that I write about every month.   I may have written about this process before, but it bears repeating.

During my shamanic training, we were taught how to track a deceased loved one, determine if they were stuck somewhere, bring them back, release all of the heavy energy that they took with them to the other side, and then “launch” them up to a higher level where they could start to plan to return for another lifetime.  Coincidentally, there is a class at the Monroe Institute called “Lifeline” that teaches how to perform a similar service for the deceased.

When I started teaching advanced shamanic healing techniques to practitioners in Europe and the UK, I created the launching protocol that I have been using ever since.  It was based on the Shamanic Death Rites.  The goal for this was to use a shamanic process and convert it into a spiritual one.  BTW—I still use the Death Rites on deceased loved ones of clients to this day, and enjoy that process very much.

The goal of the spiritual process that I created back then was to assist students in getting into an altered state of consciousness and a higher vibrational state so that they could leave their body behind and explore.

Those early launchings in Europe and the UK were pretty simple until people got used to the process.  Basically, in small groups of 3 to 5 people, we would sit in a circle around the person being launched.  The launchee and all participants would expand their Core Essence until the launchee indicated that they were fully expanded.  The person who took the part of the shaman would rattle in a certain way to detach the launchee’s luminous energy field from their body.  Then all of the participants would scoop up that energy field and forcefully with their hands, send it up and out as far as they could.  We would then sit quietly for a designated number of minutes, no more than 6, while the launchee journeyed out into the cosmos.  While we were waiting, the participants had the opportunity to track where the launchee was going.  Thus, this has always been a group endeavor in all ways!

When the time was up, the shaman would start rattling to bring the energy field of the launchee back while everyone sitting around that person would rock and rub the body to assist.  The launchee then shared their experience, and each of the others shared what they perceived in turn.

The process later evolved to having everyone have an intent for their journey.  The sharing from the others afterwards quite often brought back information for the launchee that was related to their intent.

In 2011, I taught several rounds of a workshop designed to assist students in attaining altered states of consciousness and in journeying.  After that, I started a local and in person launching group for non shamanic practitioners.  That group had a variety of members and continued to meet until I moved to Utah in 2019.

I thought that my launching days were over at that point.  Then, at the end of 2020, a group of my former healership students decided to start launching remotely, and invited me to join them.  We have been meeting remotely once a month for a bit over 2 years now.

Here is the new process.  One of our members sends out a Google Groups link, and we all log in at 10 AM Mountain Time on the last Sunday of each month.  After chatting for a bit, we decide on the order of the launching including who will be the shaman.  This order rotates around so that everyone has a turn at being the shaman, and also being launched.  From there, the process is pretty much the same.  We all expand our Core Essence along with the person who is launching, which creates a group higher dimensional vessel.  The shaman keeps the time and brings the person back when her time is up.  After the launchee shares her experience with us, we then go around one by one and add to that according to what we perceived.

The big difference here is that we all live in different places, so the launchee does not have anyone in the room to assist her.  The burden is on that person to expand as effectively as they can, stay out in their journey without distraction, and bring themselves back without the benefit of a team of people rocking her body to get her back in.  So far, after a bit of practice, this remote process has been working just fine.

What do we experience when we are “out there”?  It all depends on the launchee’s intent and ability to keep pushing themselves further and further out into the cosmos.  It’s different every time, which keeps things interesting.  The information that comes back is always informative and pertinent to not only the person who is launching, but to the whole group.

Can a person launch themselves without the benefit of being in a group?  I don’t see why not, although that depends on the person’s skill levels and ability to expand and get into an altered state.  If any of you try that, please get in touch and tell me how that went for you.  You can also get your own group together to do this.  I have written up all of the remote launchings that we have done, so you can also go back in this blog to read about the kind of information that I have received during my journeys.  I have not written about the other group member’s launches, as I do not write down their reports during our session.

So there it is in a nutshell.  Of course, there is a bit more to the process, but I have written about the basics here. If any of you have questions, I'd be happy to answer them.  Remember that the more you practice, the better you will get at this.
