After Glow

 

Last night here was the evening of the Winter Solstice.  It was cloudy all day, and I was not sure if there would be a good viewing of the sunset out at the Parowan Gap, but I decided to take a chance and drive there anyway.  The temps were in the low 50's with some wind.  Actually very nice.

I was greeted by 2 ravens up on a tall rock near where I parked.  An omen perhaps?

There were several cars already parked there, so I knew I would have company.  It turned out that these were families with a bunch of little kids.  So nice that children were being exposed to this kind of activity!  So I proceeded to climb up the fairly steep hill to just below the viewing location and waited.  This is what it looked like at first.

As the sun started to set down through the gap, things lightened up.

Finally, I could see just a peek of the sun down in the bottom of the V.

The hills and flat areas to my north were lit up, too.

We had been having some beautiful sunrises and sunsets here in the last few days, so I waited until after the sun went down to see what would transpire.  Here is the afterglow

Even though it was getting dark and I still had to find my way down the hill, it was well worth it to linger a bit and enjoy the after glow of the solstice.  

One last gift awaited me.  When I drove back through the gap heading west and back to town, this is what I saw.  A brilliant red sunset right over Cedar City.

Winter Solstice-Ignite Your Fire

Sunday the 21^st is the Winter Solstice here in the Northern hemisphere.  This is just a quick reminder to do some sort of ceremony to ignite the fire of your intent for the coming year.  2026 is numerologically a number 1 year for our planet, signifying the start of a cycle and the beginning of the new.  Take advantage of the dynamic forward motion of the solstice to set a strong intent for yourself. 

I will be going out into my yard in a bit to do a bowl burning.  Letting go of the old and outdated and welcoming in the new potential.  Happy Solstice to all of you!  May 2026 bring you good health, prosperity and never ending joy.

A Big Shift

Yesterday morning started in an unusual way.  I am usually a morning person, but on this day I felt kind of floaty and not quite in my body.  Perhaps it was because later in the day I was participating in 2 interesting events.

The first one was a 2 hour workshop with Ken Lloyd entitled “The Big Miracle Event”.  That was to take place from 4-6 PM Mountain Time.  The second one was a live event with Rupert Guy down in St George from 7-9 PM.  This event involved walking out into the local desert, laying on the ground and calling in Extraterrestrials. 

So one of the first things that I did in the morning was to pull 2 tarot cards.  The first one was from my favorite deck, the Osho Zen Tarot.  The second was from a deck that I rarely use from Uri Gellar called the Extraterrestrial Oracle.  A photo of the 2 cards is above.  Wow!  See the synchronicity?  So I know that something monumental was going to happen later in the day.

I was feeling the ET energy all throughout the day, but as the afternoon wore on, I decided not to do the drive all the way down and back to St George in the dark. 

Ken’s event was really nice.  Since he gave a holiday discount for the 2 hour workshop, he had over 350 people in attendance.  This number did not include the people who signed up and were going to listen on line later.  I do not know if it was his light language transmissions that were so powerful, or the fact that he had a large group attending, but it really packed a punch energy wise.  When he was finished, I had some dinner, and sat down to meditate and tune into the ET group in St George. 

It was at that point that I noticed my body vibrating, almost like shivering.  I was experiencing a massive cellular and DNA upgrade.  It felt as if my body was becoming crystal clear, and some aspects were becoming transparent.  That continued throughout the night and I got up several times just to walk around the house. 

Things have calmed down quite a bit this morning, but I am still feeling a bit floaty.  I pulled another Zen Tarot card, and got the same one labeled “The Source”.  Getting the same card 2 days in a row rarely happens, so I am assuming that the shifting and integration is still happening. 

Today, I am hosting a ladies lunch for our subdivision, with 10 people attending.  Who knows how that will go!  On the other hand, no accident that we will be having a big group.  My intent is to expand my new energy around the group and see what happens.  It could be very interesting.  Then I will take a much needed walk in the afternoon. 

An Amazing Discovery

I live about 1 1/3 mile from a major shopping area here in Cedar City.  If I need to shop there, I normally drive.  Yesterday, since it was a beautiful day weather wise, and I only needed to buy one thing, I decided to walk down the hill to the Walmart.  On my way back, I took a short cut which led me around the back of the Walgreens drug store.  I had never been back there before, and what I saw really threw me!

What I encountered was a huge basalt monolith in a somewhat park like setting. The small area had been landscaped with trees and grass, and the grass around the stone had been tended and mowed.  What? 

I do not know when the Walgreens was built, but it had to be many years ago.  I can only assume that the construction company created the lovely spot for the monolith.  There are lava fields all over this area, and perhaps this huge stone rolled down the hill at some point.  One side of it has a lot of caliche, which indicates that it was laid flat on the ground for years.  The construction company had to use a big piece of heavy equipment to prop it up. Another possibility is that it was dug up during the construction and placed there.

In this photo, you can see the edge of the ancient lava flow at the top of the nearby hill. 

So what to do with this discovery?  When I visited Americas Stonehenge last May, we learned how to dowse the energy of the monoliths that were found there.  Any huge stone like this that is anchored into the earth draws up energy in a spiral formation around that stone.  This energy can be used for healing and raising one’s vibration.  I am assuming that this one is no different. 

I leaned my whole body back on it and stayed like that for a while.  It was a very serene and grounding feeling.  My sense is that no one has worked with the monolith in this way, and that its powers need to be re-activated.  The next time I visit it, I will take my pendulum and check it out.  Also leave some kind of offering.  

What a gift!  It goes to show you that nature holds all sorts of surprises, and you just have to look for them.. It could be a monolith like this, or a special grandfather tree, or a message from a particular animal.  Even urban locations like this can hold surprises.  You just have to be open and observant to find them.
