An Acceleration

Something is in the air!  I don’t know about you, but I am feeling the acceleration in consciousness that I predicted in my 2024 New Year’s post from late December of last year.  Although it could be just me.   Since May, several opportunities have come up for me that were designed to do just that.

For the past 5 months or so, I have been participating in a weekly Tuesday night healing circle with the Life Line Center.  I wrote about this in my May 24th post.  It is a one year commitment, and so far, I am pleased with the sessions.  Dr Darren Weissman uses the Lifeline Technique to connect everyone in the circle with subconscious early life traumas that need clearing.  It is quite fascinating how this works.  If you are interested in trying this out, he offers a 2 week free trial.

Of course, my trip to the highly energized sites around Stonehenge and Carnac the end of May were significant for my spiritual evolution.  I know how to tap into the heightened energy and how to use that energy while I am on site.   Although, all one would need to do is just stand there with an intention to raise one’s vibration for healing and spiritual evolution.   That is also why one can visit sacred sites in Egypt and Peru for example, and come away from those trips changed for the better.

So that brings me to the labyrinth walks that I have done in the last few months.  Those are certainly guaranteed to raise one’s vibration!  Included are the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in June, the 2 labyrinths at the GaiaSphere, and the end of month walks here in Cedar City.  BTW—I have one of those tomorrow.   It is so important to have an intention as you enter labyrinth.  Traditionally, one releases what needs to go on the way into the center, and embraces the positive on the way out.  If any of you have a labyrinth in your area, I encourage you to make use of it.  It is a very easy and somewhat passive way to move out heavy energy and embrace acceleration on your spiritual journey.

I’ve also gotten back to a somewhat regular meditation practice.  Nothing fancy, just breathing deeply and clearing the mind for maybe a half hour or so.  But the most interesting event occurred about 10 days ago on one of my favorite hiking trails.  I was up at 11,000’ looking for mushrooms when suddenly, I went down flat on my face.  No injury except a few scratches on my face, and some bleeding.  Elbows, knees, hands perfectly fine.  My first impression was that I went through some sort of portal or dimensional gateway.  It was like I was in another world altogether.  I will be speaking to a friend on Monday to confirm this.

All of my recent activities have propelled me forward very strongly.  What I have described here is more in the realm of passive or indirect activities, which anyone can do.  In the mean time, I have gotten R J Spina’s latest book “Access Super Consciousness” which is fabulous.  I highly recommend it.  He outlines many “active” ways in which one can increase one’s vibration and accelerate one’s own healing.  Also, every month he does an on line seminar Q & A with a guided meditation.  I participated last Sunday morning.  Quiet interesting.  The next one is in late September.  You can sign up for his mailing list at AscendTheFrequencies.com.

There you have it.  We have our Labor Day holiday weekend now, so I wish all of you in the US a nice and relaxing time.

GaiaSphere

The grounds around the GaiaSphere are lovely, and offer many opportunities for relaxation and introspection.  Unfortunately, it was too hot last weekend to spend much time outside in the middle of the day.  I did walk around and take photos on Sunday morning and evening.

There are 2 labyrinths on the property.  One is the traditional 11 circuit design like the one at Chartres Cathedral, and the other one is a spiral.  Behind the building is a patio with tables and chairs, in addition to a very nice man made waterfall complete with a water lily pond.

There was a tree nearby that had lots of what I assume were large crab apples, and the local Canada geese were feasting!   Unfortunately, there was goose poop all over the place.  One had to be careful not to step in it.

I did not have my camera with me on Saturday after the sessions when I walked the main labyrinth.  Luckily, some clouds rolled in and it was a very pleasant walk.  On Sunday morning, I got to the GaiaSphere pretty early to photograph.  As I turned the corner to go through the gate to the labyrinth, here were 3 fledgling Cooper’s hawks just sitting there on the fence.  What a treat!

People were already walking the labyrinth, so I went to the back of the property to where the spiral one was and walked that.  It was serene and peaceful.

Inside the entrance of the building is a humongous Amethyst geode.  It is big enough to lay down in!

There is also a very nice mounted smokey quartz crystal in a hall way.

I walked the main labyrinth for a second time after the Sunday session was over.  The clouds had rolled in again, so the photos turned out better than the few that I took in the morning with the deep shadows.

Walking the labyrinths was an excellent way to integrate the heightened energies of the weekend.

After a good night’s sleep, I set out for home on Monday morning.  The 594 mile drive took exactly 10 hours which included a few stops.  I stopped for lunch in Grand Junction, and had some iced tea, which I usually do not do anymore.  My hope was that the tea would keep me awake until I got home, and it did just that.  The scenery through the Rocky Mountain portion of Colorado was gorgeous, but it didn’t compare with the mountainous area from Green River to Richfield Utah on Hwy 70.  That was breathtaking to say the least.  Too bad I couldn’t stop to take photos.

I also went through a big rain storm on that stretch, so that slowed me down a bit.  There was at least one accident on the other side of the highway because I assume that person was driving too fast for the conditions and slid off of the road.  This is a very isolated stretch of highway, as there are no services for about 160 miles.  There are signs warning about that, too.

So I was almost driving on fumes when I finally got into Cedar City, but still wide awake and perky.  What a great trip.  I am now going through my notes and ordering some of the books from the speakers.  Digesting all of that information will take a while!

Ancient Civilizations Conference

I am finally caught up with odds and ends around here and have time to post about last weekend’s conference.  It was fabulous!  The Ancient Civilizations Conference took place at the GaiaSphere in Boulder, Colorado.  I chose to drive there instead of flying and renting a car.  In total, I put about 1200 miles on my car!  As I wasn’t sure how well I would do with driving so far, I went about 2/3 of the way on Thursday, and the rest of the way on Friday, ending up on Pearl Street in Boulder for some shopping and lunch before checking into my hotel.

On my last trip to Stonehenge and Carnac, I made friends with fellow traveler Mary.  As luck would have it, she lives about an hour north of Boulder.  She drove down on Friday evening and we had a delightful Italian meal at a local restaurant.

Now on to the conference.  It took place on the campus of Gaia TV, in their event center called the GaiaSphere.   My dear friend Lindsay, who lives in the Denver area, was able to attend.  As she was new to a lot of the topics that were covered, it was such great fun to experience it all with her.  In addition to the state of the art auditorium, there are 2 different labyrinths on the property.  The Gaia Studio where their regular shows are recorded is also there, and we got a tour of that building at lunchtime.  George Noory of Coast to Coast AM fame records his other show “Beyond Belief” there, and we got to see that sound stage.

The lineup of speakers was quite impressive, although I was not familiar with some of them.  The first speaker was William Henry, who was the guide on my first trip to Egypt in 2008.  He discussed the Serapeum, which I had the privilege to visit in 2012 on my last trip to Egypt.  I have to say that it has to be one of if not the most enigmatic sites that I have ever visited.  Truly fantastic.

David Hatcher Childress spoke on megalithic sites all over the world, which happens to be a primary interest of mine.  Freddy Silva spoke about the energy at various ancient and megalithic sites.  He takes groups to these places and uses dousing rods to show how powerful and extensive these energies can be.  Gregg Braden was the last speaker on Saturday, having the longest time slot at 1 ½ hours.  His topic was the hidden messages in our DNA.  I won’t get into this, but I found his information a bit off considering some of my ideas.  I will leave it at that.

Geologist Robert Schoch has been credited with accurately dating the Great Sphinx in Egypt as being much older than traditional archaeologists had estimated.  The weathering patterns on the rock of the Sphinx enclosure proves that it existed in a time of massive rainfall and flooding, about 12,000 years ago.  I found his presentation quite interesting.  BTW—he stuck around for the rest of the afternoon on Sunday after his presentation.  Clearly he is a people person!

Maria Wheatley spoke on healing earth energies.  She just appeared on stage and did not mingle afterwards.  I did not get to meet her again in person, but she announced that she will be leading a weekend workshop at America’s Stonehenge in New Hampshire next May.  I would love to go!

I think that the highlight of the weekend was a presentation by Erich von Daniken, of “Chariots of the Gods“  fame.  What a delight.  He is 90 years old!  Years ago, he popularized the notion that ET’s have been visiting earth for many many years, and are still among us today.

So there you have it.  I won't mention the other 4 speakers that I was not familiar with.  When I have a chance, I will go back through my notes and perhaps order a few books written by the speakers.  I have a lot to chew on now.  This is the third year that the conference has been presented, so I may be going back next year.  Driving, maybe.  Flying, also maybe!

I will do one more post on the labyrinths and other features of the property.  Until then.

The Lord of Cats

A few weeks ago, I participated in the monthly walking of our local labyrinth.  This is always a special occasion, as it is a great opportunity to do a spiritual tune up.  BTW—I just purchased a huge illustrated reference book on the history and locations of labyrinths from all over the world.  This tradition goes back hundreds if not thousands of years.  I will have an opportunity to walk another one this coming weekend, but more about that later.

After I walked the labyrinth, I sat quietly for a bit to enjoy the elevated energy and to settle back into my body.  As I gazed towards the center of the labyrinth, a large form started to take shape.  It was the head of a cat!  Picture a giant feline rising up just enough to poke its head through the center of the labyrinth.  It was looking right at me!  I have to mention that as I was walking, I was also invoking healing for my cat Josie, as she had recently had some health challenges.

All animals have a group soul that they originate from.  They do not have individual souls as we humans do. Upon death, their essence merges back into their species group soul.  The large cat in front of me said that he was the Lord of the Cats.  In other words, he was in charge of the cat group soul.

So I asked him about what I can do for Josie to help her.  Here was his response.  “All you can do is love her and do your best to take care of her.  She has her own plan for her life, and is in charge of her own destiny.”  Wow!!  I guess that takes some of the pressure off of me!  There are cases where individual animals can separate from their species group soul at the moment of death and start their journey as an individual soul in a human body for their next incarnation.  Robert Monroe encountered such a situation during one of his many journeys out of the body.  Is this part of Josie’s plan?  Perhaps!

On another note, I am getting ready to drive all the way to Boulder, Colorado for the Ancient Civilizations Conference this weekend.  One way it will be a little more than 500 miles, so I will split it up into 2 days going there.  One day coming back.  This will be at the Gaiasphere facility, home to Gaia TV.  My good friend Lindsay will also be attending as she lives not far from there, and we expect to have a great time.  There is also a labyrinth on the property, which I am excited about walking.

So in addition to the interesting speakers, I hope to get some information on other Megalithic/Neolithic sites that I can visit on future trips.  Maria Wheatley, whom I mentioned in a previous post, will be one of the speakers.  Her expertise is on the Stonehenge/Avebury area.  I wonder if she will remember meeting me at Avebury.

There you have it.  I do not know how long it will take me to recover from the very long drive, but I will post again soon after I get home.  I am setting my intent to have a fascinating and magical time in Boulder.
