I recently listened to an interview that featured Robert Zubrin of the Mars Society. He is considered to be an expert on all things to do with Mars, including how to get there, what we need to do to live there, and what the time frames for this would be, among other topics. He seemed overly optimistic with his ideas, but who is to say that none of that would not come to fruition!
The whole time he was talking, I was thinking about our connection with Mother Earth. Being of a shamanic frame of mind, I regard this intimate connection as a necessity for the health and well being of all sentient life on Earth. Unfortunately, because of start of life issues compounded by the current state of our world, many people have disconnected from that connection and prefer to be ungrounded and out of their bodies most of the time. That is understandable, as it is a way for them to not feel afraid. Nevertheless, that gives one a very false sense of security!
So, a number of questions came up for me while listening to the interview. If one is on some kind of ship heading to Mars, how is their grounding cord operating? Is it still connected to the core of our Earth Mother? If so, can it stretch all the way to Mars? Is this a holographic connection and one takes it wherever they go and it does not need to stretch?
Or, as I have seen with many people nowadays, the grounding is minimal or not even there, so what I said above may not matter.
When one does get to Mars, what then? This reminds me of advice I have given to people after they have made a move from one location to another. It is important to let go of the old location, pull up the grounding cord, and anchor it firmly into the new location. This can sometimes be difficult to do, as there may be unfinished business from the old location that may still linger. There may be traumas and unpleasant incidents, as well as joyful ones that can be hard to let go of. Possessions may also be left behind that call the person back to take care of. Will the people who land on Mars be able to let go of their previous life on Earth?
Will we even be able to let go of our identities as Earth humans enough to anchor into another planet? And what will we be anchoring into? I am assuming that all planets have an energy core that contains the higher dimensional energy of some sort of soul. Certainly our Earth Mother fits into this category. Will new arrivals to Mars be able to connect to this core, or forever live there in an ungrounded and out of body state? That would not bode well for the physical and psychological health of the new arrivals.
What is the energetic core and soul of Mars like? I did some tuning in and found a male energy that was not as vital as our Earth Mother and somewhat angry as well. Would this being welcome us, or do its best to get us to go away? Certainly over the years there have been many strange mishaps involving our exploratory spacecraft that have gone there.
I would imagine that any human that was born on Mars would have an easier time of it, and not have to deal with the challenges that I have described. Bottom line, we will not know until we get there. Zubrin has set out a time frame for colonization, but the future is malleable, so who knows? I hope this post has given you some food for thought. Many questions are posed here. What do you think?
Wow, this is a great post and definitely something to think about. I will admit I have never had the desire to travel or live on other planets in this lifetime. I suppose I am really committed to Earth.
