Heading Into Winter

I thought I'd send along these comparison shots of my yard.  Above is a photo taken on November 2nd.  Below is the same shot taken this morning on November 11th.  Clearly, we had a pretty good first season snow fall over night.
Our last few winters have not yielded much snow here in SW Colorado, but it looks like this year will be different with the El Nino moisture patterns.  When I went outside this morning to take photos, I felt so blessed to be walking in several inches of fresh snow.  What a serene experience!  I stopped to feel my gratitude and appreciation to our Earth Mother for being our support and sustenance, and for providing the home base and everything that we need for our growth and evolution here in this 3D world.  Even as I write this, I can feel my core essence expanding naturally without having to do a thing to make that happen.

  1. That's wonderful Carla! Thank you for sharing. Over here in the Netherlands we have had a couple of grey days with a lot of wind and some rain, but luckily today I can see the light outside from our beloved Sun.We did not have a lot of snow here in The Netherlands in the last couple of years. I hope this is the winter of big change in this world, it definitely feels so :)
    Love and Blessings,
